Eferral is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your data. This section explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information.
Information We Collect
- Personal information you provide (such as name, email address, and payment details).
- Information automatically collected through cookies, analytics tools, and usage logs.
- Referral-related data, such as who referred whom and participation metrics.
- Identity verification information (“KYC data”) required for payout eligibility.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
- To process transactions, manage accounts, and communicate updates.
- To personalize user experience and improve referral effectiveness.
- To comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms.
- To verify identity (KYC), prevent fraud, and determine eligibility for referral incentive payouts.
KYC Verification & Payment Eligibility
Eferral collects and processes identity verification information (“KYC data”) through its third-party payment processor to confirm user identity, prevent fraud, and comply with financial and regulatory requirements. Referral incentives cannot be released until KYC verification is completed.
If KYC is not completed within 365 days, any associated referral incentive amounts may be forfeited.
Dormancy & Unclaimed Funds
If a user does not complete KYC verification or withdraw available funds within 12 months, the balance may be classified as dormant. Dormant or inaccessible balances may be removed or reclaimed in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Dormant funds are not reinstated or paid out once forfeited.
Data Sharing
Eferral does not sell personal information. We may share limited data only with:
- Service providers assisting with platform operations or payment processing.
- Legal authorities, if required by law.
Payment Processing & Data Sharing (Stripe)
Eferral uses Stripe to process payments and verify identity. Stripe may receive personal information such as your name, email, phone number, payment method details, and KYC verification data. Eferral does not store full payment card details. Stripe processes all sensitive information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards and its own Privacy Policy.
Data Security and Vulnerability Management
Eferral maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user data. Any identified security vulnerabilities are acknowledged within 24 hours of discovery and resolved according to our internal Data Security and Vulnerability Management SLA.
Data Retention for Compliance
Eferral retains certain transaction, identity verification, and account records as required by law, including records related to unclaimed or forfeited balances. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to meet legal, regulatory, and fraud-prevention obligations.
2. California Privacy and Compliance Notice
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related laws.
Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual obligations.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your data (Eferral does not sell personal data).
- Non-Discrimination: You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Eferral also complies with applicable privacy laws in Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and Virginia (VCDPA), granting similar rights to residents of those states regarding access, deletion, correction, and opt-out preferences.
